SNS PROVINCIALS 2017 - REVISED AUGUST 1

PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 - YOUTH U13-U15-U17 A & B - U21 A            
Following is the Provincial A&B table showing the Provincial dates, location, and hosts for each championship being held this season.
Using the total number of teams registered provincially, in any category, applied to a formula the number of teams participating in a championship is determined. This accounts for the difference in the number of seeds available for our teams.
Please note the number of spots open to CISL teams in any category.
When three or more seeds (spots) are available for CISL teams in a championship hosted by a CISL club the lowest seed “may” be the Host team.
This will be determined by the final standings.
Where the Host team is high enough in the standings to be awarded a spot/seed in a championship, then the top teams in the final standings will fill the spots, based on their rank in the standings.
  Otherwise the Host Club’s team will be the lowest seed.
For example, in a case where the Host Club’s team is 1^st or 2^nd in the standings they will be placed as the First or Second seed.  Where a Host Club’s team is 7^th or 8^th in the final standings, the team would fill the lowest seed available for the particular championship.

If you believe your team will be eligible to participate, you must determine the team’s availability to attend your provincial. If your team is not able to participate, please notify your club as soon as you know. Failure to notify your club in a timely manner will result in a fine to the team (SNS rule).
Once the season is complete the final standings will determine eligible participants, and or hosts.
